The European project More-than-Planet explores the way we look at Earth through satellite data, art, culture and philosophy, and develops narratives to envision our planet anew.
An exhibition in the Old Observatory in Leiden brought together several projects.
The design was based on Turing patterns which are found everywhere in nature, from a geological scale to the tiniest organisms. The patterns and logo variations were programmed using a.o. Processing.

The More-than-Planet logo changed in every instance like a living organism always developing and/or decaying.
